Another thing. The sealskin. Going to assume you know something about it.
He needs a solution, limiter, or a workaround for its randomness and exploitability. Any improvement would be better than none. Can your magic do that?
[some days, nominal consent feels important. other days, you see ani mikheeva hijack koby's ward detail, and you're like, she is the sex worker with low-yield superstrength and a perplexing amount of beef with every other pair of testicles on campus. and what is nominal consent, if not skirting a posthoc request for forgiveness, really.]
The vampire took it. Made him talk. Koby's drawing a straight line between that conversation and the hostages. And of course, enough guilt you'd think he handed it over with one of your Christmas bows on top.
The house seems to choose randomly and maliciously. That much, I'm not sure can be changed. But you could try.
koby's room — bonus points awarded if you can chill his "aura" or whatever the fuck. think benzo barrier
my room + jake's — magical mute button against men's psychic attacks β€οΈ doubles as protection (from me) for jake — no one gets in without my invite. vampire rules shit
the club — embry & angel are on the no-fly list — punishment ideas: ball removal, shock collar setting, permanent dick-don't-work disease, neutered ego, receding hairline, frontal lobe finishes developing
Koby Good call. I can work with him to see if we can come up with some kind of suppressant element.
You & Jake Literal psychic attacks or are we talking the natural result of speaking while afflicted with the condition of being a man? [ He's missed her, actually. ] How about magical selective hearing? Might take me a while, but I can make it portable. Optional peace wherever you go.
The rest is easy, consider it done by tomorrow night latest.
The Club Design concept: they bump up against the ward like flies against a closed window, I'm alerted. If I'm free, I'll go and say hello myself, keeping those ideas fresh in mind. If I'm busy, I'll alert security, who I'm sure will have plenty ideas of their own.

In the case of the club, I could cast something that'll let through anyone other than those actively barred, or something that requires someone inside to make physical contact with someone without for them to cross the threshold. Or a combination of the two. Or really anything that'd suit the purpose, given a little time to work on the spell.
Yes. In the short term you'll need to let me know when there's anyone to add to the latter category, but I'll start work on a longer term solution to that problem once I've got the foundations set. And I'll build in the option for supervised entry with a staff member in the meantime.
[ Not foolproof, but it saves Silco or Ani being obliged to let him know all the out of hours comings and goings of their establishments. ]
[ Oh word? Goodbye afternoon threesome, he's got debts to pay and a thank you from the boss he screwed over to earn. ]
I'll have the banned list unable to enter by end of day. If you and Ani are available later I can get the out of hours staff & guests only access started with you, and I'll weave everyone else into the spell when they're around before shifts. Keep you updated on any progress on the nuances from there.
If I factor in a switch to shift the ward from business hours to out of hours, would you want it in your office or by the exit?
[ Unfamiliar with either of them, he's unsure how open they'll be to a recently almost-cancelled sorcerer arriving in their inboxes offering to cast a spell on their personal space. ]
[it doesn't have to be said for the message to be very loud indeed. he's right β and, above all, wanda cares about the people here; she only wants to make sure they're protected, no matter what may happen.]
I'm not working, so I have the whole day. Let me know when you need me.
@strange
In light of recent events, if you want your space warded against uninvited guests, I can accommodate.
@ π¦ @ silco
Same goes for the clubs.
@qimir
Hello, Stephen.
What does this mean?
no subject
A barrier of protective spellwork, to keep the unwelcome from passing through.

[they know each other. stephen was the initial referral, even.]

We can ask him.
[ Maybe they already have, technically, though there's every chance he's fast asleep. ]

I can look into it, but I'll need to understand it more to know what kind of approach to look into. What can you tell me?

Not yet, but I'm a master craftsman. I can work to realize a vision.

How specific/broad are the parameters?

I'm putting the basics together for the clubs later, if you have time today.
