[he almost argues, almost tries to explain that looking directly towards the visions makes them worse, but -- beneath the oracle's veil, koby is still koby, and silco isn't asking.

so he looks, and he sees:]

Would you change anything? Knowing the outcome? Would you tell her something different, if it kept her safe and doomed Zaun?

[ Meaningless, maybe, in a void of context, but he stops short of typing anything else out. It's too much to confess, even if he expects Koby already understands the depths of his devotion to Jinx. Too much to say that he already gave up Zaun for her sake, too much to say that he'd do the same with this place, with everyone in it, if it meant keeping her safe. ]

[it is meaningless, almost immediately -- koby rereads his own message and doesn't understand it at all, bloodied fingers trembling from how hard he's scratched words and images into the tabletop -- hex vander zaun piltover violet sevika jinx jinx jinx. he doesn't like looking, but he can't lie about what he sees, either.]

[it prompts the part of koby that's still his own -- curious, thoughtful, inquisitive -- to raise up a little, getting a sideways answer like that. it feels...normal. it's nice.
